Hi! I'm a 20-year-old university student at the University of Western Australia, majoring in Data Science.
Like most students, I've sat through plenty of lectures where the content was important but the delivery made it hard to stay engaged. I found myself wishing there was a way to take those dense lecture slides and turn them into something I'd actually want to spend time with — something interactive, visual, and fun.
That's how LevelUp Lore was born. I wanted to build a tool that takes any lecture material and transforms it into a fully playable RPG game, complete with quizzes, characters, AI-generated artwork, and reward mechanics that make studying feel less like a chore.
The idea is simple: if you can make learning feel like playing a game, students will actually want to do it. And if AI can handle the heavy lifting of game creation, any lecture can become an adventure in minutes.
You upload your lecture notes (PDF, DOCX, or text), and the AI reads through the material, identifies key concepts, and builds a complete RPG experience around them. Every game features a unique storyline, original AI-generated portraits and diagrams, interactive challenges, and a progression system designed to reinforce what you've learned.
No two games are the same — even the same lecture will produce different characters, storylines, and challenges each time.
LevelUp Lore is built, maintained, and supported entirely by one person — me. Every line of code, every prompt, every email response, every bug fix. There's no team, no VC backing, no marketing department. Just a student who wanted a better way to study and decided to build it.
